Two-time National Champions – Rugby

New Mexico Tech’s men’s rugby team made university history in 2022 by winning two national titles—capturing championships in both the 7s and 15s divisions. Ranked #9 nationally among Division III colleges by National Collegiate Rugby in 2025, the team continues to demonstrate consistent excellence in competition. Both men’s and women’s teams are open to all students regardless of experience. The program provides scholarship opportunities and focuses on teamwork, athletic development, and community.
