Registering for the SRS is easy! Just fill out this SRS 2024 Registration Form and select all of the categories you'd like to participate in. Only one registration is needed for any and all categories (just be sure to include them all).
NOTE: Be sure to complete the Media Release Form to let us know that you consent to being photographed and/or recorded AND to get
a pack of free business cards!
NOTE: NMT students may register for any or all of the three categories.
NOTE: Some categories require that you submit an abstract. All abstracts are due by March 8.

Attendees are crucial to the success of the SRS. They provide feedback, volunteer
their time, and interact with participants so they can get the valuable experience
of discussing their research. There are a number of ways attendees can contribute.

About
Our Mission: Communicate to Educate
Communicate to Educate means to effectively communicate your project or research to
educate those you are presenting to. This is the primary focus of the Student Research
Symposium.
The SRS is an annual event where students present their research to the communities
of NMT and Socorro, as well as the larger STEM community. Students at all levels,
from freshman to graduates, have the opportunity to participate in research and the
SRS provides a forum to share the exciting projects they've been working on.
During the event, students are able to:
Showcase their knowledge and skills by giving a presentation or displaying a poster
to peers, professional researchers, and engineers.
Communicate their research or design to people outside of their field.
See what their peers are doing and get ideas for future research projects.
