The New Mexico Mine Accident Emergency Operations Center is located at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and is run by the Bureau of Mine Safety. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call toll-free 1-866-761-6039

Contact NMT Campus Police after calling in the accident to get an incident report filled out. 

Make sure you have an Emergency Notification Plan on file with us. By law, that each mine in the State of New Mexico must file an "Emergency Notification Plan" with the New Mexico State Mine Inspector at the New Mexico Bureau of Mine Safety.
