Desert Willow Housing Application
Apply in the StarRez Housing Portal
Before You Apply
- You must have an active NMT student account to access the housing portal.
- If you need year-round housing (May–May), complete both the Summer and the 2026–2027 applications.
- If you need academic-year housing (August–May), complete the 2026–2027 application.
- You can only search for roommates who have already started their application.
Step 1: Application
- Log in to the StarRez Student Portal using your academic single sign-on.
- Username: 900XXXXXX@ID.NMT.EDU
- Password: Your academic lab / single sign-on password
- Select “Desert Willow Application” from the top menu.
- Click Apply for the appropriate housing term.
- Read and complete the application.
Step 2: Roommate / Family Information
- Add roommates if applying with other students.
- Add family members if applying for family housing.
- Search for roommates using 900#, name, or profile answers.
- Housing Deposit: $200 + $50 for each additional occupant.
What Happens Next?
- Submit your housing application.
- Our office verifies your housing deposit.
- Applications are reviewed in submission order.
- Housing offers are emailed once the apartment agreement update is finalized.
- Log into the housing portal to accept your housing offer.
