NM Robot Combat Tournament Information

Robotic Combat Main Site

The NM Robot Combat League is an outreach effort of the NMT Mechanical Engineering dept. Our first tournament was hosted April 2021. You can read about the first Robot Combat competition here. We will be holding annual tournaments in April of every year.

There are three weight classes available:

SPARC 0.33lb/150gram: See SPARC ruleset document (Section 4) for specific requirements.

SPARC 3lb - Custom Bots: See SPARC ruleset document (Section 4) for specific requirements.

SPARC 3lb - Kit Bots: See SPARC ruleset document (Section 4) for specific requirements.

MESA: 3D printed and foamboard bots from the MESA program.

NM Robot Combat Tournament Sign Up

Tournaments are held annually at NMT in Socorro, NM. Tournament contestants must sign up one month before each event, and submit a video confirmation that they have a working bot two weeks before the event. The 2023-2024 season matches are set for April 27th 2024.
