Four NMT Mechanical Engineering students are taking part in a live-streamed Science in the Community event to inspire interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Arts. These four students interned with New Mexico Solar Energy Association (NMSEA) during the 2020 Summer developing a SunChaser2k20 Educational Tool to promote science education in New Mexico schools.

The students discussed the new SunChaser2k20 as the opening presentation for the New Mexico Science Fiesta. The SunChaser2k20 was developed for NMSEA as a mobile educational tool for displaying renewable energy concepts across New Mexico.
