ASME

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) holds events for students such as industrial tours (at least one per semester), invites guest speakers (currently hosting the ASME Guest Speaker Series), and are also planning to attend design conferences in upcoming semesters. They are active in volunteering with the Mechanical Engineering department to show k-12 kids STEM demos.

BAJA

The BAJA team is a junior/senior design clinic project funded by several independant sponsors. The goal is to design and fabricate a safe and reliable vehicle that will be competitive during the SAE Collegiate Design Series in May 2019. This year they will be designing an entire new frame, suspension, driver controls, and attempting to run the car with a hydraulic drive. Volunteers are always welcome to join.
