Tech Holiday Party
Tech will be hosting it's annual Tech Holiday Party on December 16, 2016. The party will host several different features and attrations, including:
- Pictures with Santa
- Holiday Dinner
- Teen Party (13+)
- Door Prizes
The event runs from 5pm to 7pm and is located in the Fidel Center. All faculty, staff, students, and their immediate families are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
Biannual Graduate Community Barbecue and Potluck
The Center for Graduate Studies and the Graduate Student Association would like to invite all graduate students, faculty, staff, and their families to the biannual Graduate Community Barbecue and Potluck. The Barbecue is held every spring and fall semesters
Meat and vegetarian barbecue is be provided, along with some side dishes. If you bring a dessert that feeds 12, you will earn one GSA point. For new students, GSA points can be used towards travel grants and other future events.

New Mexico Tech Day
For the very first time, under the leadership of President Wells, New Mexico Tech Day will be held on January 26th, 2017 in the Round House in Santa Fe. New Mexico Tech Day is a day with the State Legislature that's all about NMT. New Mexico Tech's research innovations, excellence in education, and contributions to the state will be featured.
Graduate Education Day
Graduate students will present their research at Graduate Education Day 2017 on March 6th, 2017 at the New Mexico State Capital building. Student posters will be displayed in the East and West Halls of the History building.

For the first annual Graduate Education Day with the Legislature, eight New Mexico Tech students presented their research to legislators and visitors in the Roundhouse on January 30, 2015.
Shown here, two of the students, Stewart Youngblood from Mechanical Engineering and Olivia Chavez from Biology, discussed their research with our local Representative, House Speaker Don Tripp.
