
Student Activities Board
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Student Activities Board is to bring the best events to campus to enrich the lives of NMT students, providing them with opportunities that they would not have outside of NMT, while contributing to the social, recreational, cultural, and educational development of the students through programs and services. The SAB works closely in conjunction with the Student Government Association regarding its funding and major event decisions. We are responsible for planning and executing most of the activities on the NMT Campus. This includes “Welcome Week”, 49ers, and Spring Fling. Other events include special contracted acts such as comedians, magicians, and stress busters.
Student Activities Board Members
The SAB consists of two faculty directors, one student officer, and three committees.
The SACD or Student Activity Chair Director over sees three committees and the three committee chairs; Fall, Spring, and advertising.
