Stephanie Sichler Director, Sponsored Projects Development (SPD)

Stephanie leads pre-award strategy at NMT, focusing on opportunity fit, proposal planning, compliant budgets, and on-time submissions. She partners with faculty, centers, and institutes on single-PI and large, multidisciplinary efforts, and coordinates closely with SPA, OCAR, Compliance, and OIC to align terms, data, and reporting requirements. Sara Grijalva
Pre-Award Negotiations Manager (SPA)
Sara leads pre-award agreements and award negotiations, including NDAs, MOUs/MLUs, MTAs/DUAs, teaming agreements, and subawards. She aligns terms with sponsor policy, publication and IP protections, data security, and export control, and streamlines collaboration set-ups with domestic and international partners. Judith McShannon
Manager, Research Development (SPD)
Judith manages proposal routing and on-time submission to federal sponsors, including Research.gov, Grants.gov, and agency portals. She coordinates final institutional checks, ensures required forms and approvals are complete, and releases proposals for submission. Contact: Judith.Mcshannon@nmt.edu
