RAVE Emergency Notification System Cleanup

RAVE Account Cleanup

Periodically we need to cleanup the subscriber base for the RAVE notification system.

RAVE Cleanup Info

As part of ongoing maintenance of the RAVE system, NMT is cleaning up the RAVE membership list.  As many folks left the university, but have left their membership active, over time there are more and more failures to deliver to both email and SMS/text messaging.

These failures affect all of our members' timely receipt of important messages.  Also email and cellular providers see our messages as SPAM because of these failures.

NMT will be removing accounts for people no longer associated with NMT on 4/3/2023.

NOTES:

Emergency Notifications are issued for any special situations that concern campus safety, such as severe weather advisories, special instructions due to street closures and emergency instructions that will affect students of what to do and where to proceed too in the event of an emergency situation. This will allow students to stay safe and keep them out of harms way as a situation is happening or to stay clear of an incident scene.
