Scientific publisher Elsevier and Stanford University released their annual list of the top 2% most cited scientists.  Eight current NMT faculty, along with a long list of emeriti and former faculty and adjuncts, are among those listed.

Each year, Elsevier and Stanford University compile the list of scientists ranked among the top 2% based on a range of metrics (e.g., citations, h-index) available in Elsevier’s Scopus database.  Scientists are ranked based on their data from the prior year (in this case, 2024) as well as on their overall career statistics.
