New Mexico Tech selected as one of Most Promising Places to Work

Professional association selects Tech and 21 other colleges and universities

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA (Feb. 6, 2024)—The trade publication, Diverse: Issues In Higher Education, along with the American College Personnel Association, has announced its list of the Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs. New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology made the list of 22 for a number of reasons.

With a focus on workplace diversity, staffing practices and work environment, the research uses a web-based survey approach to examine categories such as family friendliness, salary/benefits and professional development opportunities, to name a few.

The complete report will be published in a future edition of the magazine.
