Students, faculty promote STEM excellence at Holloman Air Force Base annual air show

Photo Gallery: NMT Civil Engineering Assistant Professor Dr. Isabel Morris organized volunteers from several campus groups to attend HAFB’s “Legacy of Liberty” air show on June 2, and take part in the STEM demonstration area.

The different entities included: Biology, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics. Other offices also volunteered: Admission, Auxiliary Services, Student Affairs, Office of Outreach, and Academic Affairs.

NMT also received support from the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium in order to attend the event, which was reported to draw approximately 15,000 onlookers.
