Deju House is New Mexico Tech’s Newest Meeting Venue
July 5, 2022

SOCORRO, N.M. – Thanks to the generosity of a New Mexico Tech alumni donor, a new facility on campus is now available for meetings, training sessions, and other events. Construction is now complete at the Raul and Shari Deju University House, named for Tech alumnus Dr. Raul Deju, and his wife, Sherry Deju.
The Deju University House is a 5,200-square-foot facility located on the north side of campus that has the capacity to host alumni events, meetings, and training sessions for up to 210 people. The House can be arranged for events as one large space or two small spaces.

The Deju University House features indoor and outdoor dining and gathering spaces, all the latest technology for teleconferencing, a library, a catering kitchen, and an open backyard with a covered patio. It also will serve as a place to highlight the accomplishments of Tech alumni via a permanent Alumni Wall of Fame.

The event center is easily accessible by visitors, and there is ample parking in the nearby Macey Center lot.

To book the facility for an upcoming event, contact Gloria Anaya, Conference Service Director, at gloria.gutierrez-anaya@nmt.edu or 575-835-6545. More information on the Deju University House can be found on the New Mexico Tech website at: https://www.nmt.edu/leadership/dejuhouse.php
