One percent of the original building cost was set aside for public art. The total was $180,000, with $120,000 for the large work. Many of the smaller pieces have already been installed in Bureau public spaces. The whole program is managed by New Mexico Art in Public Places. A committee of NMT people will make the final art selection, with input from any interested members of NMT and the Socorro community. The meeting is a public meeting, and all are invited to attend.
