Two Tech Students Earn Materials Scholarships

Two New Mexico Tech materials engineering students won industry scholarships recently.

The Albuquerque chapter of the American Society of Materials presented the awards to Amanda Kuker and Zahra Ghanbari.

The two students, along with faculty representatives, attended the Society’s conference in early September. Douglas Taylor presented the students with certificates and the funds. Taylor earned his degree in materials engineering from Tech and is the chairman of the chapter’s scholarship committee.
