Water Resources Education Program outreach effort with local high schools featured

New Mexico Tech's Water Resources Education Program, an effort to educate high school students about their local water resources, is featured prominently in a story titled "Students sample water for Tech project," in the March 24, 2022, edition of El Defensor Chieftain, the weekly newspaper serving the Socorro area. Bonnie Frey, a geochemist with the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, works with area high schools to research water quality in Socorro County, New Mexico.
