New Mexico Tech Hydrologist Comments on Fire's Impact on the Watershed

Dr. Daniel Cadol, an associate professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at New Mexico Tech, provided expert analysis for a story in Searchlight New Mexico about the aftermath of a forest fire on the watershed. Dr. Cadol commented for the story, "The fire and flood next time," about how water gain gain momentum and pick up more sediment with vegetation burned away.
