NMT Grad Named District Ranger in California

Sara Acridge joins the Shasta Lake District after five years in resource management with the BLM

 

The U.S. National Forest Service issued a press release on November 23, 2019, announceing that Sara Acridge has been named the new District Ranger within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

Shasta-Trinity National Forest Supervisor Scott Russell is pleased to introduce the new National Recreation Area and Shasta Lake District Ranger, Sara Acridge. “Sara brings tremendous skills to our team and we are excited about her joining us,” said Russell.

For the past five years, Sara worked as a Resource Management Supervisor at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Redding Field Office. She has a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico Tech. Sara is married and enjoys reading, running, yoga, and making stained glass artwork.
