Dr. Gary Axen joined Faith Egbuonu of KOB-Channel 4 for a segment of Good Day Mexico.  

Axen founded a well-preserved ancient pot in an arroyo. He contacted the local Bureau of Land Management office, which recovered and examined the pot. 

In addition to talking about his find, Axen talked about research in the Earth and Environmental Science Department at New Mexico Tech.

The Bureau of Land Management's Socorro office published article about the find, which was later determined to be of the Elmendorf Black on White variety, dated to 1100 to 1275 A.D.
