In honor of Earth Science Week, the Bureau of Geology has partnered with public radio station KUNM 89.9 FM in Albuquerque to produce 2-minute podcasts "Earth Matters: Field notes on the geology of New Mexico's enchanting landscapes". Each piece will feature a Bureau staff member. The pieces cover a variety of topics under a theme set by the American Geosciences Institute. This year, the theme for the week is “Geoscience is for Everyone”.

One piece broadcast at 7 p.m. each day from October 14 to 18. Be sure to tune in! If you miss the live broadcast, you can access the pieces through the KUNM Two Week Archive. In addition, you can check out broadcasts from previous years on the Bureau of Geology website.
