SOCORRO, N.M. – Mechanical engineering professor Dr. Seokbin Lim recently was featured as a panel expert on the Zippia website. The career advice website asked Dr. Lim for advice on how students can adapt to the new learning environment in the pandemic.

Dr. Lim (pictured at left) was one of 13 panelists, including 10 academics and three industry professionals. He used the opportunity to promote NMT’s four-semester capstone regimen and the Mechanical Engineering Department’s emphasis on communication skills.

Given the change of course that has happened in the world, we wanted to provide expert opinions on what aspiring graduates can do to start off their careers in an uncertain economic climate.
