Albuquerque Business First Covers NMT Agreement Signing With ABQ Hispano Chamber

Albuquerque Business First, a weekly newspaper, published an article by reporter Collin Krabbe about the signing event, which took place Tuesday at the Hispano Chamber of Commerce office.
The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology signed an agreement signifying a new partnership Tuesday. The five-year effort will
be used to foster educational programs and economic development in the Land of Enchantment
and Mexico.

"This agreement today advances our mission," New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology President Stephen Wells said during a press conference. "It's a community ... that transcends borders."
The idea came to fruition during the 2017 Inaugural Summit for Mayors, which was held by Americas Conference of Mayors, a nonprofit working to improve local governmental policy throughout the Americas, according to Wells.
