Story About Geothermal Energy Research Project Features New Mexico Tech Students

New Mexico Tech students working with scientists at Sandia National Laboratories on research using explosives and propellants to improve deep-underground geothermal energy development were featured in an Albuquerque Journal article Jan. 30, 2023. The article, titled "Sandia pumping up geothermal research," also includes information about a proposed center of excellence at New Mexico Tech to expand research on New Mexico's subsurface geothermal resource potential.
