2026 Alumni Reception & Event Schedule

Join the New Mexico Tech Alumni Affairs team as we travel to connect with Techies across the country — and beyond! Our 2026 schedule includes a mix of alumni receptions, community gatherings, and special events that celebrate the Tech spirit wherever it takes us.

In January, we’ll kick off the year in Santa Fe with our Legislative Reception. February will feature several opportunities to connect, including gatherings in Tucson during the Gem & Mineral Show, Socorro for the Career Fair, Phoenix for a regional reception, and Salt Lake City during the SME Conference.

As spring arrives, March will bring receptions in Albuquerque, Denver, Colorado Springs, and Boulder, along with a potential Pi Day Celebration in Socorro. April events will include the President’s Club Reception as well as alumni gatherings in San Antonio and Austin, Texas.

Moving into May and June, we’ll celebrate Commencement and host alumni events in Socorro, followed by an unforgettable New Zealand alumni travel experience. Additional receptions are planned in Ridgecrest, California, the Bay Area (including San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland), and a possible Albuquerque Family Fun Day.
