Office for Student Learning (OSL) Advisory Board
The mission of the Office for Student Learning Advisory Board is to provide non-binding but informed advice and guidance on strategies and tactics that will assist the Office for Student Learning in accomplishing the following:
- Drafting a five-year (2020–2025) strategic plan that is aligned with the strategic plan of New Mexico Tech as well as anticipate and plan for annual and multi-year goals to support and enhance the learning of NMT students.
- Building an effective assessment strategy that ties the efforts of the center to the NMT learning outcomes as defined by the NMT Assessment plan.
- Regularly evaluating and assessing our programs, including the OSL Tutorial Center, the Student Research Symposium, Veteran’s Services, Living Learning Communities, Student Success Workshops and Peer Mentors, to ensure that they are meeting the needs and expectations of students, faculty, and the NMT administration.
Please feel free to contact individual Board members if you have suggestions for how to improve OSL operations.
