Ed has been teaching in New Mexico since 2004, and exclusively online since 2007. His online teaching methods were highlighted at the 2009 conference for the National Music Educators Association where Ed was a featured speaker. Ed's musical background is in Jazz and Improvised music genres on drum set and hand drums, and since 2010 has focused his musical energies on learning the traditional and modern uses and music of the American Indian Flute. Ed is a stay at home dad, and performs in Socorro as a drummer with local musicians, and on American Indian Flute for Yoga classes, lecture demonstrations and small solo performances.
