The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology's Tech Library homepage digs into the institution's resources to offer a sampling of its references and materials. You can learn all about the library's catalog system LIBROS, take a virtual tour of the facility, and even get background on the library's Einstein sculpture, a community recycling project made from plastic bottles, tennis balls and other common materials. Like many academic library sites, much of the info here is for enrolled students (hours, borrowing policy, etc.). Yet the site also offers an unusually well-organized search system for locating other academic library Web pages by subject, degree program and library function.
