Upward Bound Math & Science
 

UBMS provides high school students in the Albuquerque area with the tools necessary to graduate high school, enroll in a postsecondary institution, and enjoy a successful career in the math and science fields. By providing them with hands-on lab experience, exposing them to real-life opportunities in the STEM fields, and supporting them academically and socially through tutoring, academic workshops, standardized test preparation, cultural events, college visits, assistance with the college admissions and financial aid processes, and a summer residential program, we aim to help our students break through all of the barriers before them and succeed in the path of their choosing.

Future applicants and parents/guardians should find everything you need on this site to understand the program and begin the application process. Please be sure to read the information available on the Program Activities page and the How to Apply page to be sure that you qualify for the program and that you will be able to commit to the activities we will be offering.

Current students should also find plenty of helpful information here. Please check out the Upcoming Events page for information on our Saturday Sessions, trips, and meetings. Also, our Links/Resources page will provide you with links to all of the information we discuss during these meetings and much more to help you along.
