Welcome to Title V PPOHA Home

 

The 2009 PPOHA, the year NMT was funded, was the first ever Department of Ed grant awarded for graduate programs. Major components include: 10 Graduate-level Learning Communities/Linked Courses, Communication across the Curriculum, ESL Services/Programs, Peer Mentoring Program– grads to undergrads, 7 Smart Classrooms, 14 Graduate-level Learning Spaces, 14 Graduate-level Study Groups, Graduate-level Forms and Processes Automated – Banner Workflow, MST Advisor Training, Faculty Instructional Technology Training.

The Mission of Title V is to provide all NMT students, especially Hispanic, minority, and low income students with support, programs, and services to promote engagement of  community leading to higher rates of student success, retention, and graduation.
