Women in STEM - from Lady Ada to Today (Wed. 26 Mar, 2014 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm)

The Women's Resource Center invites all students and faculty to join us in the Ananda Lounge (Jones Annex 218), on March 26, for two excellent presentations. First, Cheri Burch, the New Mexico STEM chair of the American Association of University Women, will speak about "Women in STEM" at 2 p.m. Then, Lady Ada (looking just a tad different than last year), Ms. Beatrix Potter, and Drs. McClintock and Goodall (plus Mr. Babbage) invite you to stay for afternoon tea and chat about the changes women have faced in the STEM fields over the last 150 years. Tea is served at 3:30 p.m.!

Do-it-yourself Bike Repair (Wed. 26 Mar, 2014 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

The New Mexico Tech Bicycle Club hosts a bike repair afternoon every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Macey Center loading dock.. The club has tools for you to do your own repairs. Club members are on hand to offer advice.

Philosophy of Math and Science Seminar (Wed. 26 Mar, 2014 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm)

A weekly seminar and discussion group surrounding the philosophy of science and mathematics. Everyone is welcome to join in the Math Conference Room in Weir Hall.
