Strategic Plan Town Hall Meeting

The Strategic Planning Committee is hosting town hall meetings on campus in October to solicit opinions and comments from the campus community and the general public. Everyone is welcome to read the proposals for the university's new five-year strategic plan, the mission statement, vision statements, institutional values and strategic priorities. Those documents are posted online at http://www.nmt.edu/spc-home. 10 a.m. in the third-floor ballrooms of the Fidel Center.

Verge Fund Speaker Series

Lawrence Udell, founder and chairman emeritus of the Silicon Valley Licensing Executives Society (www.les-svc.org) is the guest speaker. An internationally-recognized expert on the licensing of technology, Mr. Udell will speak about New Mexico Tech's licensing efforts and will also be available throughout the day to meet with students and faculty. This series is hosted by the Department of Management and sponsored by the Verge Fund. 11 a.m. in Cramer 101.
