PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS |

Make sure you
sign the form before you send it, otherwise it cannot be processed!
Payment: $6.54 per transcript - If the transcript
needs to be faxed from the Registrar's Office, there is an additional
$3.00 fee.
Acceptable Payment Types: Check, Money Order,
Cashier's Check, or Credit Card.
To pay by Credit Card:
- Type of card
- Card number
- Expiration date of your card
- 3 digit security code found on the back of the card
- Your billing zip code
- Note authorizing us to charge the amount against your account.
If you are using a parent’s card, that person should write
“I’m authorizing [your name] to use my credit card,”
and add their signature. We would also like their return address
to send the receipt to.
Sending Cash is discouraged (it might never get here), but also
accepted. |
Our goal is to have your transcript ready to be picked up or mailed
within two working days after your request, except during peak processing
periods.

Requesting Transcripts
ATTENTION!!
The beginning of the semester is a peak processing time. Processing on ALL transcripts requested will take longer than the normal turn around time.
In order for your transcript to be released, you must have a zero or credit balance at New Mexico Tech.
Our goal is to have your transcript ready to be picked
up or mailed within two working days after your request, except during
peak processing periods.
The cost is $6.54 per transcript, with an additional
$3 charge if 1) you want the transcript faster than two
working days or 2) you want the transcript faxed.
Information Needed
You must provide the following information to request a transcript:
- Transcript
Request Form (.pdf) or a letter requesting your transcript
- Your name. If your name has changed, be sure
to tell us the name you had when you attended Tech.
- Your address and phone number.
- Your Tech ID or Social Security number
- The approximate years you attended Tech
- Complete address(es) of where you want transcript(s)
sent
- If transcript is to be sent to you, whether
you want it in a sealed envelope. (Transcripts used for applications
usually need to be in a sealed envelope.)
- YOUR SIGNATURE!
How to Pay
- In person at the Cashier’s Office, Joseph A. Fidel Center, Second Floor.
- Mail - check, money order, or cashiers check

By fax
Our fax number is (575) 835-6511.
By e-mail. We can only accept
a transcript request by e-mail if the e-mail contains a scanned copy of
your signature. Follow the instructions above for requesting a transcript
by fax. Send your e-mail to registrar@admin.nmt.edu.
Rush and Faxed Transcripts
You can request for quicker processing than two working days. The fee is an additional $3 (total $9.54). The transcript is usually sent out or ready to be picked up within one working day.
All transcripts will be mailed standard mail.
You can also request that we fax a copy of your transcript to a recipient. However, we require the recipient’s physical address and will follow the fax with an official copy of your transcript. The fee is an additional $3 (total $9.54).
