New Mexico Tech seeks to admit students who have demonstrated, through previous education, aptitude tests, and interests, that they are qualified to complete a degree. Tech subscribes to the National Association of College Admission Counselors' Statement of Principles of Good Practice. All official documents sent to New Mexico Tech become the property of the university and will not be returned. To be considered for admission, an undergraduate applicant must:
In addition, students who do not meet Tech's minimum ACT or SAT, requirement but who have taken college-preparatory classes in math and science must: submit letters of recommendation from at least two of their high school math and science teachers, sent directly to the Office of Admission. To apply for scholarships: No further application is necessary! New Mexico Tech will consider you for one of our Merit Scholarships on the basis of your high school GPA, standardized test scores, and, in the case of transfer students, college GPA. Do, however, apply to FAFSA or financial aid! |
