American Business Women's Association - High Noon Chapter
|
Applicant must be:
Student who is working full-time with a need to increase skills and who wants to go back to school part-time (Full-time work=30 hours/week or part-time school=two classes or 6 credit hours per term)
Full-time student who is 100% responsible for their educational expenses.
Must have completed 2 semesters or 3 quarters and GPA must be at least a 3.0 (or equivalent)
Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible to apply again
Can be either a graduate or undergraduate
Must submit a degree plan or course of study plan, a transcript, three character reference letters and a biographical statement along with the application.

Mills Family Scholarship
|
- The Mills Family Scholarship Fund seeks students meeting the following criteria:
- A current resident of New Mexico Congressional District 3, with the exception of Quay, Curry, and Roosevelt Counties; or a New Mexico Tribal Member from any county in the state;
- A graduating high school senior within the last 24 months (exceptions to this requirement may be granted at the discretion of the University);
- A cumulative high school GPA of 3.2 minimum, or college GPA of 3.2, or documentation of home-schooled equivalency;
SAT score of 1100 minimum (or 24 ACT);
- Eligible for federal Pell grants having an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) comparable to that of a Pell-eligible undergraduate student. Financial need and merit will be considered in the awarding of this scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded to those students who show the lowest EFC – as determined on the federal financial aid forms.

Three $2,500 Scholarships
|
The Mills Family Scholarship Fund is a one-year scholarship. Recipients may renew for up to five years for a total of 180 credits. In order to renew, students must re-apply to demonstrate the following:
-Required progress;

Continued financial need;
- Full-time status with a course load of 12 credits per semester
- GPA of 3.0;
- Continuous enrollment. |

AES Engineers Scholarship for 2008
|
AES Engineering is pleased to be able to continue offering scholarships to motivated students to help in the furthering of their education.
Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted.Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. |

National Research Council of the National Academies Research Associatedship Programs
|
Awards are available for scientists and engineers at all stages of their career. Applicants should hold, or anticipate receiving, an earned doctorate in science or engineering. Most awards are open to foreign nationals as well as to U. S. citizens.
|
Research Associates receive annual stipends ranging from $41,000 to $70,000 for recents graduates and proportionally higher for Senior Associates. In addition, the NRC provides health insurance, relocation benefits and an allowance for professional travel. |
Postdoctoral awards are for 12 months with renewal up to 3 years. Senior research awards may be for shorter periods of time. Summer Faculty awards are for 8 - 14 weeks, renewable for up to 3 successive summers. |
