Summer Science Program: Open Event (Mon. 14 Jul, 2014 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm)

The Summer Science Program offers weekly free lectures over the six-week course, which are open to the Tech community (students, faculty, staff and alumni). This week's featured speaker is Dr. Sigrid Close, professor of aeronautics and astronautics at Stanford University. She will present "Meteoroids and Asteroids: Micro- to Macro-Impactors." 2:30 p.m. in Weir 102.

SGA Summer Meetings (Mon. 14 Jul, 2014 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm)

Yes, the Student Government Association is meeting for the summer. We are working on issues and still passing bills. So if you do need to talk with us, just come to our meeting! 5 p.m. in the SGA Offices in the Fidel Center.

Summer Science Program: Open Event (Fri. 18 Jul, 2014 10:30 am - 11:30 am)

The Summer Science Program offers weekly free lectures over the six-week course, which are open to the Tech community (students, faculty, staff and alumni). This week's featured speaker is Dr. Dara Norman, associate scientist at the National Optical Astronomy Observatory. Her talk is titled, "Nature and Nurture in Understanding Active Galactic Nuclei." 10:30 a.m. in Weir 102.

Blood Drive (Fri. 18 Jul, 2014 10:30 am - 3:30 pm)

Residential Life is sponsoring a blood drive from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, in the third floor ballrooms of the Fidel Center. Students, employees and local residents are all welcome to participate.
