Presidential Chamber Music Series III: String Quartets (Mon. 27 Jan, 2014 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm)

New Mexio Tech Performing Arts Series presents Presidential Chamber Music Concert III - String Quartets. Willy Sucre on viola will be joined by Kevin Connolly and Justin Pollack on violins, and Sally Guenther on cello, to perform string quartets by Mendelssohn anbd Dvorak.  Free Admission.  7:30 p.m. at Macey Center.  For more info:  www.nmtpas.org

Do-it-yourself Bike Repair (Wed. 29 Jan, 2014 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

The New Mexico Tech Bicycle Club hosts a bike repair afternoon every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Macey Center loading dock.. The club has tools for you to do your own repairs. Club members are on hand to offer advice.

Earth & Environmental Science Seminar (Thu. 30 Jan, 2014 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

The Earth and Environmental Science Department will host Dr. Ronni Grapenthin of the University of California, Berkeley  for the weekly seminar. Grapenthin will present, "Plumbing, Plumes, and Early Warning: GPS Near Volcanoes and Fault Zones." Sponsored by the Department of Earth & Environmental Science and New Mexico Bureau of Geology & Mineral Resources. Hosted by Dr. Glenn Spinelli. 4 p.m. in MSEC 101.

New Mexico Tech Performing Arts Series presents Cirque Montage, a breathtaking, whimsical world of animated characters that defy the perception of what is possible; with hand balancing adagio, aerialists, a bombastic juggler, dancers and much more.
