Air Rifle (Mon. 21 Oct, 2013 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm)

The Tech Shooting Club hosts an air rifle practice in the basement of the gym for all who are interested in learning or improving shooting skills. 5 to 6:45 p.m.

Street Hockey (Mon. 21 Oct, 2013 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm)

The Street Hockey club invites anyone interested to join us for some friendly, no contact, street hockey fun! Even if you have never rollerbladed or played hockey before, come see what it is all about! Equipment is provided (limited stock) so you don't have to worry about buying your own. David Dempsey of Los Alamos National Laboratory will present "Numerical Modeling to Optimize CO2 Sequestration and Understand Induced Seismicity" at the Earth Science Seminar. Hosted by Mark Person and David Butler. Sponsored by Earth and Environmental Science Dept. and the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, 4 p.m. in MSEC 101.

Joe Stefani is the 2013 Distinguished Lecturer for the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. He will present "Seismic Modeling & Applications of FD Modeling to Rock Physics and Geomechanics." Queens Rugby - POSTPONED (Sat. 26 Oct, 2013 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)

The Queens rugby team will host the Red Mountain of Tempe, Ariz., at 1 p.m. on the Athletic Field. Come support the Tech ruggers! This match will take place Saturday, Nov. 9.

Alumni Reception - Central Ohio (Sat. 26 Oct, 2013 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

The New Mexico Tech Alumni Relations Office will host a reception in Dublin, Ohio at a location to be determined soon. All former students, faculty in the Columbus and central Ohio area are welcome to attend.  6 to 8 p.m.
