Cupcake Sale (Mon. 4 Mar, 2013 9:00 am - 2:00 pm)

The Trinitite Club -- the student chapter of the Society for Technical Communication -- will be selling "Baked by Madeline" cupcakes in the Fidel atrium from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Student Activites Board Meeting (Mon. 4 Mar, 2013 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

We will be voting on a Spring Fling theme at this meeting and finalizing theT- shirt design! Everyone is welcome to come! Bring a friend! The meeting will be at 5 p.m. in the Fidel Quiet Lounge!

Python Section 1 classes are free every Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. in Speare 116

Rhythm of the Dance (Tue. 5 Mar, 2013 7:30 pm)

The Performing Arts Series presents Rhythm of the Dance, a Celtic music and dance extravaganza showcasing Ireland's rich cultural history. Free for NMT students enrolled in 6+ hours. General Admission: $20/Adult; $18/Senior; $10/Youth. 7:30 p.m. at Macey Center.

SGA Meeting (Tue. 5 Mar, 2013 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Tea with Lady Ada (Wed. 6 Mar, 2013 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

Lady Ada, Countess of Lovelace (aka Graduate Dean Dr. Lorie Liebrock), together with her Lady Scientist friends, Ms. Beatrix Potter (aka Dr. Penny Boston) and Dr. Barbara McClintock (aka Dr. Rebecca Reiss), and attended by Mr. Charles Babbage, FRS (aka Dr. John Stavely), invite you to afternoon tea to discuss analytical engines, fungi, and corn, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon in 218 Jones Annex. St. Patrick's Catholic Newman Center (Wed. 6 Mar, 2013 7:00 pm)

American Society of Mechanical Engineers Meeting (Wed. 6 Mar, 2013 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

InterVarsity Large Group (Wed. 6 Mar, 2013 8:30 pm)

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship's large group meeting is a time for communal growth and personal transformation. It can involve anything from thought-provoking messages to worship nights, from quiet evenings of prayer to loud games.  Everyone is welcome! 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the SAC.

Swing Dance (Thu. 7 Mar, 2013 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm)

Weekly Swing Dance held in the SAC hosted by the New Mexico Tech Ballroom Dance Club. Everyone is welcome. Lessons are held before the dance most nights. 8 to 10:30 p.m.

NMT Auto Racing Club Meeting (Thu. 7 Mar, 2013 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

International Women's Day @ Tech (Fri. 8 Mar, 2013 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)

On International Women's Day, March 8, technical women from around the globe will convene virtually and in-person over a 24-hour period, following the sun, across every continent, "Creating Global Connections." The Women's Resource Center will stream this inaugural event all day in 106/107 Fitch - just stop by anytime! You are invited to RSVP (e-mail bonnekessen@nmt.edu or "join" on the WRC Facebook page), but that is not required.

Materials Engineering Seminar (Fri. 8 Mar, 2013 11:45 am - 12:46 pm)

Dr. Ruslan Z. Valiev is the founder and director of the Institute of Physics of Advanced Materials at Ufa State Aviation Tech University in Ufa, Russia. He will present "Bulk Nanostructured Metallic Materials for Innovation Applications." 11:45 a.m. in Cramer 124.
