The Writing and Oral Presentation Center's STEM Communication Fellows program is hosting an information session from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, from 11:45-12:30 at the Center for Innovative Learning (Speare 113). This is one in a series of SPRD information sessions.
STEM Communication Fellows are graduate students from science and engineering departments on campus who help students and departments in a number of ways, including (but not limited to):
-- Working with graduate students and ESL students in the Writing and Oral Presentation Center
-- Mentoring students who are presenting in the Student Research Symposium
-- Developing writing groups with other graduate students in their home departments
-- Helping with Thesis/Dissertation Boot Camp
-- Assisting faculty in their home departments in many, many ways.
Faculty members are invited to this session to learn about how STEM Fellows can help YOUR department! Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the current STEM Fellows and to talk to faculty from several disciplines who have worked with them.
