 buquerque invites Tech students – and everyone – to join an educational hi
 ke and/or camping in the San Mateo Mountains west of Magdalena on Sunday\,
  August 26. Registration is free. Sierra Club staffers will train people o
 n basic forest inventory skills\, then head out for a hike in Bear Trap Ca
 nyon. The hike will be moderately difficult. Participants should bring wat
 er\, lunch and sunscreen and wear appropriate hiking gear. Leaving Socorro
  at 10 a.m. and returning at 5 p.m.\, except for those camping overnight.
