Dr. Ostergren Stepping Down In Academic Affairs

New Mexico Tech has begun the search for a new Vice President of Academic Affairs. Dr. Warren Ostergren, the current vice president, is retiring at the end of July. He joined Tech in 2003 in the Management Department, joining the Mechanical Engineering Department in 2004. He has been the Vice President for two years.

The committee is developing a list of candidates and intends to have finalists selected by Friday, July 31. Finalists will be invited to interview on campus in August and meet with various campus constituents.

Incoming President Dr. Stephen G. Wells will take part in the process after taking the reins in late June.
