All Campus Invited To Comment On Strategic Plan

SOCORRO, N.M. October 6, 2014 – The Strategic Planning Committee is hosting town hall meetings on campus in October to solicit opinions and comments from the campus community and the general public.

Everyone is welcome to read the proposals for the university’s new five-year strategic plan, the mission statement, vision statements, institutional values and strategic priorities. Those documents are posted online at http://www.nmt.edu/spc-home.

Everyone is encouraged to provide input on these important documents. These six town-hall meetings are set at different times to accommodate as many people as possible:

Friday, October 17, 11 a.m. to noon Fidel third floor – Alumni during 49ers

Monday, October 20, 9 to 10 a.m. Fidel third floor – Faculty, Staff, Students and Community

Tuesday, October 21, noon to 1 p.m. Fidel third floor – Faculty, Staff, Students and Community

Tuesday, October 21, 3 to 4 p.m. Fidel third floor – students

Thursday, October 23, 10 to 11 a.m. Fidel third Floor – Faculty, Staff, Students and Community; and

Thursday, October 23, 2 to 3 p.m. Fidel third floor – Faculty, Staff, Students and Community

The five-year plan will help guide New Mexico Tech over the next five years. The Strategic Planning Committee invites all students, employees, alumni and local residents to participate and provide feedback on these important initiatives.
