Society for Women Engineers Wins Award
Photo courtesy of Society of Women Engineers The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Student Chapter at New Mexico Tech recently was awarded the 2006-2007 Outstanding Collegiate Section Award (First Place in the Small Section category). This is a national award given by SWE to the small collegiate section that distinguishes itself in creative outreach and community service programs.Pictured are several Tech students who are members of the award-winning SWE chapter (from left to right): Rachel Fry; James Couey; Ronadel Ronquillo (president); Jessica Stringfield; Amanda Posadas (vice president); and Greg Koch.
