N M Tech President Lopez Named to Power Broker Alumni List

SOCORRO, N.M., Sept. 26, 2006 – New Mexico Tech President Daniel H. López has been named again as one of the state’s top “power brokers” by New Mexico Business Weekly in its recently published 2007POWER Book. This marks the fifth year in a row the university president has been included in the annual directory of “who’s who” among the state’s education, business and political communities.

In particular, López was cited as one of five “POWER Alumni” listed in the education section of the recently published Power Book. The New Mexico Tech President is featured alongside fellow higher education administrators from New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico.
