Lattman and Peterson

Dr. Laurence Lattman, former president of New Mexico Tech, chatted with W. Dennis Peterson in New Mexico Tech's Brown Hall administrative building last Friday, July 14. Lattman was on campus for the retirement party for Harvey Wilds, former Associate Vice President for Finance. Wilds retired with 24 years of service for the university.

Peterson and Lattman worked together at the University of Utah and later at the Socorro university. Peterson retired on July 1, 2006, as New Mexico Tech's Vice President for Administration and Finance, a post he held for 25 years in addition to being the university's chief legislative lobbyist. Lattman served as Tech's President from 1983 to 1993, prior to the administration of current president, Dr. Daniel H. López.
