Doctoral Candidate Finishes Well in Boston Marathon

BOSTON, Mass., April 17, 2001 -- New Mexico Tech doctoral candidate Vladimir Ispolatov finished yesterday's 105th Boston Marathon with a very respectable official time of 2 hours, 55 minutes, and 37 seconds.

In between conducting research and finishing up his doctoral dissertation, Ispolatov manages to find time for some serious training for marathons.

Ispolatov also finished in last year's Boston Marathon and fared well in that race as well.
