Student Chapter Wins AAPG Award

New Mexico Tech's student chapter of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) was awarded the "Outstanding Student Chapter of The Year". The award, which is sponsored by AAPG and Schlumberger, was presented last week at the annual AAPG convention in San Antonio, TX. New Mexico Tech was competing against over 50 student chapters located at universities all over the world.
