Raymond R. Niles III

Raymond R. Niles III, known to his friends as “Rudd” Niles, was a graduate student in biology who passed away in 1999. He had completed the course work for his master's degree and was well on the way to having his research done. He was awarded his master's degree posthumously.

This scholarship was established by his mother, Cynthia Niles, to benefit graduate students in biology. The endowment supports biology graduate students' activities, such as summer support, travel to scientific meetings, supplies, etc.
